Sorry for not updating since the January issue came out but I've been really busy procrastinating. So let me just take this moment to apologise in advance for the February issue; I kinda just threw it together at the last second (literally)... I'm so very, very sorry... I promise the March issue will be back to the regular quality (i.e. Not very good, but better than the February issue)

Well it was dangerously close to not being out before the end of January but the January issue is finally out! I'm not actually sure why this one took me so long to start and then so long to finish but I guess it doen't really matter now that it's done. I'm not looking forward to February being that it's only 28 days long...

Wow, 11 days into January and I finally started writing the January issue. I've just been really busy with... Okay, I haven't been busy at all. In fact, I've been quite lazy. Anyway, the point is that I finally made a start on this issue so... Hooray... Whatever, back to work.

Okay, the December issue has been proofread, fixed and uploaded! In this issue I've started using headlines as well as ads to take up blank space. This way, I can address things that feel like they need to be addressed but don't really lend themselves to a whole story or just make up funny headlines that I'm too lazy to turn into a full story... Anyway I hope you have a great Christmas tomorrow and I guess I'll update when I've got the January issue started.

Well look at that, the December issue is done! I haven't uploaded it yet but as soon as I get someone else who hasn't read it yet to read through it so they can catch the mistakes I skimmed over while proofreading it myself I'll upload it and you can bask in its new-issue smell... Anyway, probably time to go to sleep now that I've got this done. Merry Christmas to everyone and I'll update when the December issue has been uploaded.

I'm getting closer to finishing the December issue now. I've just got to write about two more articles and then I can put them into the PDF file with the images and upload it. So, considering how much work I've done since the last post, I'd say the December issue should be out in the next week or so... Or maybe I'll end up getting inspired and pull an all-nighter and it'll be out even sooner but we'll se what happens...

I've been a bit slack with the writing of the December issue recently. It'll still get done; it's just that so far I've only got one article completed. I figure I need at least four or five stories for one issue. Anyway, I'll keep this place up to date on how far along I am with this issue or you can follow me on Twitter and be up to date on when I'm writing a story (or when I'm doing anything really) but, most important, you can read my petty complaints about the world and the idiots who want to destroy the internet. Where was I going with this post? Oh yeah, December issue is coming along slowly but don't worry because I'll get it done by the end of the month... Then I'll start work on the January issue. Well, I'd best wrap this up... I keep typing for some reason even though I have nothing left to say... I should probably stop that and get back to doing whatever it was that I was doing before...

I started writing the December issue of The Chicken... Kinda. It's 4:50 AM and I woke up at about 3 AM after falling asleep at around 5 PM after waking up at around 3 PM after going to sleep at around 1 PM after staying up all night and yet I feel really tired for some reason. But at least I got the formatting for this blog/news page sorted out so that I can add stuff to it easily without messing around with a million different CSS classes and whatnot...

Okay, so I don't know how much sense this introductory post is gonna make. I nearly killed myself staying up all night putting together the final PDF for the first issue of The Chicken last night. Now, some of you at most four people who visit this site may be asking yourself: "What the hell is this 'The Chicken'?" Well my good people, I'll tell you what it is... But not here. If you really want to know it'd probably make more sense to go to the About page. So anyway, here I am designing this new website and typing the first blog/news post for it... Where was I going with this? I don't know, I just want to finish this website so I can go and play video games. Wait, yes! I remember where I was going with this now! So here in this blog/news section is where I'll be posting, well, news and such to do with this 'The Chicken' that I've started writing... Anyway, have fun now and try to limit the hate mail you send me to one a day.
